A year and a half after a major flare up I was feeling pretty discouraged and frustrated. My symptoms had come back, not as bad as before but they were back. It was so frustrating; I had been doing really well, my symptoms were mostly gone and I felt really successful in my healing.
But between stress and missing the mark in my diet my body was telling me things needed to be adjusted. Luckily, I had done a lot research and had some great practitioners to help me figure out what was holding me back from fully healing.
During this time, I came to the realization of what my definition of healing and healthy is. I now know that is a continual process. Healing is not static, it is a series of adjustments, re-evaluations and learning.
Healing is not a finality or a destination it is a journey, as annoying as it can be at times. I learned to have patience with my healing though I confess at times I am most definitely not patient.

Now I’d love to hear from you. In the comments below please share what does healing mean to you? What is your definition of healing?
Remember that feeling frustrated by the healing process is perfectly normal; it can feel like it is taking forever. Or that you start to feel better then go back to feeling sick which is so discouraging. But healing is a process and is done in layers. Keep at it and know that you will get to the place you want to be.
Thanks for watching and share your thoughts below!
All my best,
Kyla
